From March-April: summer slots with outdoor space are the most requested of the year, and Thursdays go first.

Late June maximises attendance (before people leave on holiday); early July plays the “last day of school” card. In both cases, avoid the days before long weekends and block out the date early.
The perfect Summer Party lives outdoors and moves indoors without friction. Insist on a venue where the two spaces connect — not a plan B 20 minutes away by bus.
Late afternoon → evening: a short word from management, barbecue and a bar running throughout, activities freely available, music building up gradually. The Summer Party celebrates the half-year — keep the serious announcements for September.
