An afterwork takes place at the end of the day, usually mid-week, for two to three hours. It is a short, informal format: long enough to get together, short enough not to weigh on the diary. Many teams make it a quarterly event, a good balance between team bonding and organisational effort.
Welcome around 6.30pm and a first drink, a short word from management if the occasion calls for it, then the bar and sharing platters throughout. Light entertainment can set the pace, but a good venue and a good bar are often enough. Set a clear end time so everyone can plan.
The venue should be close to the office and public transport, and fully private so you have it to yourselves. To enjoy the outdoors: the terraces and rooftop of Comet Étoile, the rooftop of Comet Ternes, the terrace of Comet Place des Victoires, or the gardens and terrace of Comet Levallois. Comet also has venues in Brussels and Madrid.
Cocktails, soft drinks, mocktails and sharing platters are prepared by our Chef and served by La Table du Chef Meliava. No caterer to find: your contact sets the quantities and timings with you, and dietary requirements are taken into account.
