A successful workshop starts from a precise question and a deliverable expected at the end of the day: a decision, a roadmap, prototypes. Share them in the invitation so everyone arrives prepared.
Workshops mean switching often between plenary and breakout groups. Movable furniture, writable walls, flipcharts and nearby spaces save time at every switch. At Comet, the room is rearranged in a few minutes, without leaving the venue.
In a large group, each person speaks less. For a sprint or a co-creation workshop, plan breakout groups of 5 to 8 people with one facilitator per group. Our venues host workshops from 4 people to several dozen participants.
A break every 90 minutes and a light lunch keep concentration up in the afternoon. With La Table du Chef Meliava, breakfast, lunch and breaks are homemade with seasonal produce.
