A successful seminar starts with a simple question: what should participants have decided, learned or shared by the time they leave? Strategy, team spirit, kick-off of the year: the goal sets the length, the number of working sessions and the share of informal moments. The venue comes next, to serve that programme.
A typical day alternates a plenary in the morning, breakout workshops in the early afternoon, then feedback and a convivial moment at the end of the day. Plan a break roughly every 90 minutes and workshop rooms close to the plenary: every transfer costs attention.
The room must hold the whole group in plenary, and the workshops need their own spaces. At Comet, the largest spaces host up to 400 people in La Plénière at Comet Arboretum and 280 people in the Auditorium at Comet Bourse La Ville Rêvée; for 100 to 200 participants, most of our venues have a suitable large space.
Breakfast, lunch and breaks set the pace of the day. At Comet, the food is signed by Chef Vakhtang Meliava, with nearly 70% French, seasonal produce, and table service worthy of a restaurant.
