"Real business needs real meetings"
To announce the opening of its first venue in Madrid, Comet Meetings, the specialist in venues and solutions for hybrid ways of working, chose a street marketing campaign mixing provocation and humour, to catch the eye and explain its concept.
After Brussels in 2021, French meeting-venue specialist Comet Meetings is continuing its international development with Madrid. Comet called on Putos Modernos: the designers of this Spanish techno-creative studio produced a selection of cheeky, humorous posters explaining why in-person meetings matter. Putos Modernos designed a fly-posting campaign to surprise and inform the people of Madrid. The designers are known in France for creating an irreverent calendar (1).
Catching the eye to spell out Comet Meetings' vision and mission
The campaign created by Putos Modernos asserts that teams need to meet in pleasant, high-quality places that allow a genuine moment of creation and cooperation, and that are an essential complement to video calls or remote work. It draws on a study carried out this summer by Comet Meetings in Spain, France and Belgium, which shows that employees not only spend a great deal of time in meetings, but that this time is not always well spent.
It follows directly on from the Comet Meetings campaign in Paris at the time of the first easing of lockdown.

An offbeat campaign
Putos Modernos turned that need into a series of visuals illustrating the situations anyone can face when working remotely, and that many of us lived through during the pandemic. For each one, the poster highlights the solution Comet offers, in a humorous and slightly provocative tone.
Giving meetings their full meaning and turning them into collective moments that contribute to an organisation's performance is Comet Meetings' rallying cry. The company opened its first Madrid venue after eight others in Paris and one in Brussels. There it offers its turnkey solutions for meetings and seminars, and for companies organised around hybrid work.
This Madrid opening is an important step in Comet Meetings' international expansion. "With this campaign we want to explain what we are and what we are not, in a way that fully reflects Comet's values and spirit," says Victor Carreau, CEO of Comet Meetings. "Being able to convey the Comet vision in our campaigns is essential for us: companies have to learn to meet less, but better. We offer not just a place, but solutions, and we wanted to show that."
