Comet Louise celebrates its second anniversary with 45% growth over twelve months, after a first full year free of pandemic restrictions.
Comet, a leading player in the Future of Work, today celebrates the second anniversary of its venue in the Louise district. After a first full year unaffected by the pandemic, the space dedicated to corporate meetings and seminars continues to grow and to meet its targets. To mark the occasion, the specialist in meetings, corporate events and hybrid working looks back on its journey since setting up in Belgium.
The past two years have been fruitful for Comet's Belgian arm, which continues to gain ground. The Brussels collaboration space has recorded 45% growth over the last twelve months, since its first anniversary in October 2022. Driven by the ambition to support companies in the way they work, Comet Louise offers inspiring design-led spaces across its 2,800 sq m building. The interiors were created in partnership with Belgian architect Lionel Jadot, with the aim of energising the productivity and creativity of client companies. Comet's model, based on a fixed price per person, also includes a full portfolio of tailor-made services: support in organising meetings, local and seasonal catering, and wellness sessions inspired by yoga and meditation.

Positive results after two years in operation
Since it opened, Comet Louise has welcomed more than 60,000 visitors and 770 corporate clients, including over 1,200 individual customers. Over the same period, the collaboration space has passed the 2,000 mark for events hosted on its premises, sometimes with up to 200 guests each. The building also regularly opens its doors to leading organisations such as Solvay, the King Baudouin Foundation, Hub.Brussels, RTBF and Bruzz Media.
Victor Carreau, CEO and co-founder of Comet, says: "Our Brussels address is on a very positive growth curve. Beyond the prospects this opens up, the trend above all confirms how relevant our approach is in Belgium: all-digital has its limits and cannot meet every need. Belgian companies need to bring their stakeholders together, and employees themselves are asking for face-to-face moments. Encouraged by the support of local players, we are now broadening our approach to offer advisory services to our clients."
In early September, the Comet group announced a rebrand. It confirms the company's positioning within the hospitality sector and brings coherence to its portfolio of offers:
- Comet Meetings: venues and dedicated support for corporate meetings and events
- Comet Workplaces: offices run like a hotel, combining design, assistance and flexibility
- Comet Hospitality: Comet's expertise in bespoke design and space management, at the heart of corporate real estate assets
Across Europe, the Comet group currently employs 180 people. Founded in 2016, this collaboration specialist manages more than 30,000 sq m in total, across 13 spaces in Brussels, Paris and Madrid.
Victor Carreau concludes: "Comet Louise has just completed its first full year without the pandemic, a year in which we were finally able to make the most of our potential. This anniversary is therefore an important milestone for us. Since we opened, the labour market has changed enormously: after the exponential rise of remote work, companies now favour hybrid working. That naturally calls for a degree of flexibility, and Comet provides it by offering venues on demand. We have an important role to play in this shifting context."
