With creative studio Putos Modernos, Comet unveils its first Spanish campaign, « Real Business Needs Real Meetings », as it opens its first venue in Madrid.
Working with creative studio « Putos Modernos », Comet is launching its communication campaign « Real Business Needs Real Meetings », marking its recent arrival in Spain. One of the posters designed by the Putos Modernos creative team declares: « Zoom was not invented in a Zoom meeting ». The campaign is a reminder that real, human and enjoyable encounters are still needed, and it sets the tone for Comet Meetings in Spain: it speaks plainly about a lasting need, while offering the answer.
During the official back-to-work month, Comet Meetings opened its first building in a landmark Madrid location, with new solutions for every kind of corporate event: meetings, conferences, training sessions, team-building days, executive committees and afterworks.
The campaign brings together a series of creations spread across several Madrid neighbourhoods, with messages that echo situations everyone recognised during the sudden shift to remote work. For instance: « A minute of silence for the person who spoke for a minute on mute ». Others explain with humour what sets Comet apart: « The best ideas come during coffee breaks or in the shower. Our coffee is good, but you are better off showering at home », a nod to its food and beverage offer.
« Through this campaign, we want to explain what we are and what we are not, in a close and friendly way, while conveying Comet's values », says Victor Carreau, co-founder and CEO of Comet Meetings.
For us, carrying Comet's vision into our projects is essential: companies need to learn to hold fewer meetings, but better ones.
This Madrid opening is an important step in our international expansion, meant to spread the format of successful meetings and the Comet concept everywhere. We wanted to celebrate it in a distinctive way, drawing on Spanish codes and habits and working with local artists who carry that tone.
Built on data from a study conducted this summer in Spain, France and Belgium, the campaign makes the case for employees' real need for meaningful meetings in pleasant, high-quality venues. It debunks the online meeting and highlights the setting as a condition for creative, high-quality content.
